Brandy and Joe

I have posted these in my other blog before but they will just have to do for tonight...I feel like a truck it me. I have rarely ever been laying on the couch when my husband gets home.....but today I did and did not get up until Smallville came on. I watched it....laying on the couch! Ohh well hopefully tomorrow will be better... I took these pics outside by my tree. They are both kinda vertically challenged so I kept telling them to stand on their tippy toes so I could get the shot.....we let me know what ya think...Sorry if I have been MIA...Lots of other stuff going on in my life right now....thanks for looking...........

Piano

When we were in Florida on vacation....my son wanted so badly to play with the piano. Well being a mom I did not think that would be the best idea..I was afraid that he would go up to the piano and just bang on the thing..Well he did the opposite. He sat down..got comfortable and began to play...of course it wasn't a song..but the way he played that piano was really something. It was almost like his hands were made to play. He was very gentile with the keys and played very slowly. Now if you knew my kid!!!! Nothing is ever slow or gentile about this boy..He is a wild one. Well this even seemed to calm him down...yes I said that...calm him down. So I'm thinking I may have to get a piano and get my son lessons.

Family Portrait Session...I was kinda nervous

I was so nervous about this shoot. The sun was out full blast and my client wanted shots taken on the slide....Very cool idea!!! But I was really scared about how bright the sun would be on their faces...I was really proud of myself..I did not get all flustered and took the time to change, change and keep changing my settings..until I got it right...but still sun that bright...only so much you can do. Everything turned out really well and I was happy with the shots I got. I was mad because the park had closed my bridge...You guys know the one I use all the time. Yellow Creek Park is my favorite place ever....but I have to have that bridge!!! But I lived... and maybe I will have the opportunity to get some shots in the Fall of their family.....on the bridge......Well you guys let me know what you think.....I have not posted in awhile....I have missed you guys.....

WE are so proud of her...

On Thursday our daughter became a first time homeowner. She is 20 years old and has bought her own house. Needless to say we are so proud of her. Brandy is a hard worker. She works at Best Buy and goes to school full time. She wants to be a teacher. She also helps us out with Samuel a ton. I have to work nights and Laz works days...so that makes our schedule overlap at times. So Brandy will stay the night at the house just to cover an hour until I get home.

She requested that I take some new pictures of her and Joe to put up in her new house. So we went outside and I shot away...not a lot believe it or not..but plenty. Its has been a few years since I took pictures of those two together...ohh other than Christmas..Soon I will have shots of Brandy and Joe in the new house. We went to her house tonight to just check things out and to see what all she needed. No pictures taken. Well all looked like crap. So here are a few of my favorite shots from the other day.
